Home Maintenance Schedule
Recurring schedules for every home system, with due dates that roll themselves forward.
Nobody forgets to mow the lawn; everybody forgets to flush the water heater. Blueprint keeps a recurring schedule for each home system, from gutters and HVAC filters to smoke detector batteries, and reminds you when a task comes due. Mark it complete and the next due date rolls forward automatically, with the full history kept on the home.

Why it matters
Schedules per home system
Set a cadence for each system: gutters twice a year, HVAC filters every 90 days, a water heater flush annually, smoke detectors every six months. The schedule remembers so you don't have to.
Reminders that reach you
Due tasks surface on your dashboard and, on iPhone, arrive as push notifications. The filter gets changed because the phone said so, not because you happened to look at it.
Due dates that roll forward
Completing a task logs it and schedules the next occurrence from the completion, so a task done two weeks late doesn't leave the next one due two weeks early.
A history that proves the upkeep
Every completion is recorded per home. When the furnace tech asks when the filter was last changed, or a buyer asks how the house was kept, you have dates instead of shrugs.
How it works
- 01
Set up your schedules
Add the recurring tasks your home actually needs, each with its own interval. A task belongs to a property, so a second home carries its own schedule.
- 02
Get reminded when it's due
Blueprint tracks every due date and surfaces what's coming. On iOS, push notifications nudge you before small neglect turns into a large repair.
- 03
Complete and move on
Mark the task done. The completion joins the home's history and the next due date rolls forward on its own, no re-entering, no spreadsheet math.
Maintenance FAQ
What home maintenance tasks should be on a schedule?
The usual suspects: gutter cleaning, HVAC filter changes, a yearly water heater flush, smoke and CO detector checks, dryer vent cleaning and seasonal exterior checks. Blueprint lets you set each one on its own interval rather than forcing everything monthly.
What happens if I complete a task late?
The next due date is scheduled from when you actually completed it, not from the original due date. Being three weeks late on a filter change doesn't compound into a schedule that drifts forever.
Does it send reminders?
Yes. Due and upcoming tasks show on your dashboard on web and iOS, and the iPhone app sends push notifications when a task comes due.
Can I track maintenance for more than one home?
Yes. Schedules and completion history are kept per property, and Pro includes unlimited properties, so a rental's furnace and your own are never on the same blurry list.
How much does it cost?
Maintenance scheduling is part of Blueprint Pro at $7.99 a month or $49.99 a year (which works out to $4.17 a month). The annual plan has a 7-day free trial, and maintenance schedules are unlimited.
